How the first month works

Teams of up to 4 pay nothing in month one. Sign up for Core and a one-time £30 credit is applied automatically to your first invoice — no code needed, and it can only be used once. That covers the £15 base plus 3 extra seats at £5 each, so a team of up to 4 people (including the admin) pays nothing in month one — larger teams pay their first month's total minus £30, as the table below shows. A card is required at signup, and nothing is charged until the credit is used up — for most teams that's the second month. The credit only applies to that first invoice at sign-up — seats added later are billed as normal, so add your team when you sign up to get the full benefit.

For teams running jobs

£25 a month. Certificates plus the job around them.

Everything in Core, plus projects, a team schedule and per-day staffing. A job's signed certificates go out in one action, after you confirm.

Pro
£25 /month

A team of three is £41 a month, all in. Everything in Core — all 13 certificate types, unlimited certificates — plus projects, a team schedule and per-day staffing. A job's signed certificates go out in one action instead of one at a time, with the recipients listed for you first. Extra seats £8 each (2–10) and £5 each from 11. More than 20 users? Talk to us, same as Core.

See what Pro adds

First month free applies to a new Pro subscription. Switching from Core does not add another credit — the first-month credit is already spent on your original sign-up.

Roles

Four roles, one clear workflow.

Installer

From £5/user
  • Create all 13 certificate types
  • Save drafts and resume
  • Invite collaborators to a draft
  • Submit for supervisor approval
  • Work offline on site

Supervisor

From £5/user
  • Everything an Installer can do
  • Review certificates submitted for approval
  • Return to the installer with specific comments
  • Approve and digitally sign
  • Send certificates once an Admin adds Office access

Office

From £5/user
  • Send completed certificates to customers
  • See the team's finished certificates
  • Create, assign and close projects (PRO)
  • See the whole team's schedule (PRO)
  • Never creates, edits, approves or signs

Admin

From £15/month
  • Everything a Supervisor and an Office seat can do
  • See all company certificates, at every stage
  • Invite and remove team members
  • Change roles
  • Manage billing and seats

Supervisors review and sign certificates submitted by Installers. They don't see Installer drafts or work-in-progress until a certificate is submitted for review.

You pay per user, whichever role they hold — seats from £5/user — and someone who only ever works in the office needs their own seat like anyone else. There are two ways to give someone the office side of CertSync: give them an Office seat, or switch Office access on for a Supervisor who keeps their signing rights. Either way it is a permission added to an existing seat rather than a second seat, so a Supervisor who also runs the office is one user at one price, and an Admin has those abilities already. Changing someone's role never changes your bill.

An Office seat sends finished certificates out, and on PRO runs the projects and the team schedule. It never creates, edits, approves, signs or deletes a certificate, and never sees a colleague's draft or in-review work. Buying and removing seats, changing the card, sending invitations, changing anyone's role, granting Office access and cancelling the subscription all stay with an Admin.

First month free

Your first month, on us.

Start free and you get the real editor — drafts that persist, professional PDFs with no watermark, digital signing and the team features, all included. A team of up to 4 pays nothing in month one, so you can run a full job before you commit.

First month free · Card required · Cancel any time

Legal

No fixed-term contract. Cancel from the billing page any time — your subscription runs to the end of the current period. A one-time £30 credit covers your first invoice for a team of up to 4 people including the admin, so those teams pay nothing in month one and owe nothing if they cancel within it; a larger team pays its first month's total minus that credit. CertSync is not currently VAT registered. The price you see is the total you pay.

Common questions

Pricing questions.

How much does CertSync cost?

CORE is £15 a month and PRO is £25 a month, which covers the first user. Each extra person is a seat, bought before you invite them. For a team of more than 20, talk to us and we will price it with you.

What does the first month free cover?

A one-time credit is applied automatically to your first invoice: £30 on CORE and £49 on PRO. It covers the plan's base price plus 3 extra seats, so a team of up to 4 people, including the admin, pays nothing in month one. Larger teams pay their first month's total minus the credit. A card is required, and seats added after sign-up are billed as normal.

What is the difference between CORE and PRO?

Both plans include all 13 UK electrical & renewables certificate types, unlimited certificates, digital signing, offline working and the same four team roles. PRO adds project management: projects, a team schedule and per-day staffing, and sending a job’s signed certificates in one action.

How much is an extra team member?

Seats are priced per plan: on CORE, £5 each for users 2 to 10 and £3 each from user 11; on PRO, £8 each for users 2 to 10 and £5 each from user 11. A seat costs the same whichever role the person holds.

Do I pay VAT?

No. CertSync is not currently VAT registered, so the price you see is the total you pay.

What happens to my certificates if I cancel?

Your certificates are kept while you subscribe. After you cancel they stay available read-only for 90 days, and you can still download them. After that they are deleted.
